Howdy! Here's the template we use for our sitetemplate.kid file.  It provides "portlet" functionality, title replacement (I'm working on using the <title> tag from the page template instead of a passed variable - any ideas?) and several "slots" which can be overridden in the page template. You can get a copy from the following URL: http://www.topfloor.ca/tg/sitetemplate.kid It requires the Yahoo! UI library components for reset.css, fonts.css, and grids.css, and uses default.css to style the page.  It automatically chooses between two and one column layouts depending on if there are any "portlet" widgets attached.  Pass a list of widgets as 'portlets' to a template to invoke.
