Folks, I am the maintainer of a project called Current[1]. Current is an Open Source implementation of the Red Hat Network server protocol and, coupled with Up2date, can distribute updates to Red Hat based machines. Some of my immediate goals are to add support for Yum, provide Yum/RHN repositories that make use of strong authentication rather than apache's allow/deny rules, and a web interface similar in concept to RHN's interface. I believe that the open source community needs an implementation of RHN's goals, minus quite a few design flaws.
I enjoy working with TurboGears, however, web design is just not my thing. So, I'm looking for folks in the open source community that would be interested in working on Current, especially the TG web app parts. You can look through the Subversion repository on http://current.tigris.org/ in the /trunk/cwebapp/ directory for the TG code. The above website also has information about the developer's list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or feel free to contact me directly. Jack Neely [1] Really bad name...I didn't name it. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
