Note to anyone else considering this ... the .css and .js files on the server are linked relatively, so they do not come through. In fact the whole site links to itself relatively, which makes attempting to wget it of little use. I'll see if I can come up with something that fixes these problems. For now I would advise not dumping this mess on your head though.
