Hi,

At this point, I've got a pretty good idea of what my time looks like
steady-state. Over the past year, a number of people have offered to
help out with TurboGears in a number of ways. Richard Standbrook with
design (Karl Guertin also putting forth a bunch of good design work).
Karl has been a big help recently with the TG 1.0 doc drive. Elvelind
Grandin, in addition to writing parts of the system, is helping out
as release manager. Eric van Riet Paap helped keep our server running
when it was having some annoying issues. Many others (Jorge Godoy,
Jorge Vargas, Alberto Valverde, Michele Cella, Jeff Watkins, Lee
McFadden, plus Karl and Elvelind) have answered quite a bit of mail
in on our mailing list (more than 3600 messages worth!). I'm thankful
for all of the help that we've had both with the TurboGears code
*and* with all of these other things that keep the project running.

Something that I don't think I'll be able to do a proper job of
managing day-to-day is our Trac. I need help:

1) getting tickets properly slotted in their versions
2) identifying the most high-priority tickets (the ones that cause
the most pain for the most users, which means that following the
mailing list is kind of important)
3) I don't think there is a #3.

I can generally fix bugs pretty quickly when I sit down to do so, and
I have a very good handle on where we're going in terms of major
features and high-level direction. But, I just haven't had time for
uncovering some of the details that make the difference between a
project that "creates passionate users" and one that merely makes
folks happy. (BTW, no one needs to point out to me that smoothing out
the install bumps is important :)

Ideally, I'd like to have two Trac Managers to help provide backup
for busy times and vacations and whatnot. If you're interested in
helping out in this way, please email me privately.

Thanks,
Kevin
