How exicting it would be to have an intelligent TG IDE! Certain features that I can visualize:
- Draw beautiful model diagrams, and relationships, and SQLAlchemy model code is ready for you. What you have to do is put business logic only. Would be roundtrip - the code is the diagram and the diagram is the code. - Intelligent code completion specific to turbogears - Visual Debugger - All tools like tg-admin etc go visual. - Not only an IDE, but also an SDLC tool, assisting in all phases of software development, from prototyping, modeling, documentation till generating diagrammatic presentations. - Visual Template editor - What not With so many MVC frameworks around, I think what we web-application-developers would now be elated to have is something like this. Turbogears+SQLAlchemy being leader in frameworks, such an IDE added will be really productive! Just a dream...
