Okay, false alarm :) I played with this for an hour last Friday and couldn't figure anything out. It would work fine when deployed using straight HTTP, but would just log me out under FastCGI. Moments ago, I had a little hunch: why not try a different browser. Sure enough, it works great in Firefox and Safari, and only exhibits the problem in my browser of choice, OmniWeb... weird! So, I just committed a startup script that allows you to deploy your WhatWhat instance using FastCGI (dreamhosters rejoice!) along with a lighttpd configuration for good measure. You will need to run in production mode, as running in development mode doesn't work.
