I definitely think the market is big enough to make it worth while, but I don't have numbers on other Python book sales in India, Python jobs in India, etc. to be able to build a solid argument for it. 

When the time comes, I'll make sure we talk to our editor at PH about this and do our best to sell them on the idea of an Indian edition.   TurboGears has a lot of support outside of the US, and it was Prentice Hall's broad international reach that made the decision about which publisher to partner with on the TurboGears book.
