Yep, this is pretty far up on my priority list. I also think some of our install docs need to be fleshed out a bit with information on how to get Python to talk to your database of choice. This seems always to be the point at which people get hung up while installing Turbogears. > The major missing section of the docs is widgets. Well, I haven't used widgets a lot, but I did write a pretty large chapter on them, so I should be able to help out with this. > I18n and Identity docs are there but weak. Internationalization isn't my strong suit either, but it's important that we get these docs right. This is one of the places where Python gives us a leg up on Ruby on Rails folk. Yummy Unicode goodness right down to the center! > Longer term, I'd like to see the Getting Started docs (which are now > listed under Reference while the Reference docs are listed under API) > either grow into full reference docs or into tutorials rather than > continue existence as quasi-reference docs. This is an interesting idea. Getting Started certianly seems to indicate something more tutorial oriented. > Nov 25 is probably not good for me, I expect to be either traveling or > spending time with the family. Yea, it's not exactly the best date for those of us in the US, but it's the only Saturday in November that I'm free, so I figured what the heck, if I'm the only one sprinting, at least it gives me an opportunity to make some progress. -- Mark Ramm-Christensen email: mark at compoundthinking dot com blog: www.compoundthinking.com/blog --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
