Thanks.  Unfortunately the legacy database is dbase3.

I'm using a python module that lets me read dbase3 files and am
importing the data by defining the schema and creating the objects in
TG/SQLAlchemy.

Seems like other people's legacy databases are always Oracle or
something like that, and mine are always something freaky like this. ;-)
