to know this is for an open source stock app I'm giving away.
I'm glad urllib is powerful enough to handlle HTTPS and that I don't
need mechanize.
It looks like after I authenticate I can download files with
response = urllib.urlopen("http://somedomain/path/to/file";) right??
More importantly, how do I do what you said and send the 'cookie'
back?? From urlopen docs
it looks like urlopen has an optional second 'data' parameter. Perhaps
I do this?..
response = urllib.urlopen("http://somedomain/path/to/file";,
session=7c4a9c0ca9c7e231bcf7...) ??
