John Udell blogged today about django. However the question he poses is pertinent to TG and it's adoption. "I've heard it said that a compelling screencast is one key factor influencing the adoption of a new web-based application. One-click install in shared hosting environments has to be another." http://blog.jonudell.net/2006/12/21/django-gymnastics/ I know that there are hosts that specialize in python based apps but what can be done to make TG a must have like php and ruby?
ruby is a must have? I have to disagree there RoR is just buzz, and it's not "easy to install" at least not if you want to have a heavy load site. in this matter TG is the same. the CP standalone server works like a charm and it's super easy to install.

now php is a totally different beast mainly because of how great mod_php is too bad mod_python isn't that widespread
