I don't see any problems with TG/Python as such.

But this is no PC! There are severe limitations in memory size - the PS3
hasn't too much of it, at AFAIK no virtual memory support. Also the
processor itself isn't too fast - the Cell-APUs are, but you can't put
them to use for such things as HTTP servers easily....

So - I don't think the PS3 is a suitable development environment for
anything that isn't tailored for it, like multimedia software or such stuff.
