Yes, but the head-section of the welcome.kid has the py:replace="''"
attribute in the "<meta content=..." tag too - so, the "<meta
content=..." of welcome.kid also should have been replaced by nothing
and should not appear when rendered!?
Oh yes, you're right. What I said applies only to the title tag. The
meta content tag is inserted by Kid automatically, using its output
encoding (kid.encoding). The meta content tags in both templates are
only there if you want to view them directly in a browser.
