I don't know of anything along these lines. If something does exist, dojo and YUI would be the most likely sources.
Ok. I'd think that it would be cool to have "tg-admin i18n collect" also collect strings from js-files, and a proper mechanism to then include localized messages.
I'll give it a shot I guess - I need it anyway. If it results in something usable for a broader audience, I'll holler.
