Pleh, the world is too big for conferences. Seriously though, is it feasible for people in California to just fly to DC and attend? What does a cross-country airfare cost you guys? How long does it take? We don't have a real domestic air service here which means people in the north of England on a lower/middle-class salary can find it difficult even to attend conferences in London.
