AFAIK The form automatically puts a submit button on if you haven't.
You can add your own submit field just as you can any other field, and
then the form won't automatically generate it.

The automatic generation of a submit button is just a shortcut to save
you having to put one on every form.

Personally I think it leads to too much confusion.
