I have a lot of relations between inherited class. The code (for SO, with some minor changes from what I wanted to do with SA) is here: http://www.llucax.com.ar/~luca/repos/darcsweb/?r=sercom;a=headblob;f=/sercom/model.py I'm sorry but I have no time right now to isolate the problem. If you want it, I can post the SA multiple versions I've tried (but I don't really remember the exact problem with each of them). I really needed this thing to get done so I couldn't document very well the problems I had. Again, I'm sorry, I know it's not the best practice to just throw a piece of code with no details, that's why I didn't publish it earlier, but I have no time right now to start playing again and refresh my memory to sumarize better what was the problem with each approach. > If you don't want to post details I suggest you take a look a Durus - > http://www.mems-exchange.org/software/durus/ to see if it meets your > needs better than a relational database. Thanks. I have a feelling that any Python written persisten object system would be too slow, but maybe I should give it a try. Again, time is not my friend right now (and the lack of documentation in the website doesn't help :), so I guess I'll stick to SO for the current project and see durus in the future. -- Leandro Lucarella (luca) | Blog colectivo: http://www.mazziblog.com.ar/blog/ .------------------------------------------------------------------------, \ GPG: 5F5A8D05 // F8CD F9A7 BF00 5431 4145 104C 949E BFB6 5F5A 8D05 / '--------------------------------------------------------------------' Todo caminante merece una palangana con agua caliente.
