not that I know of you will need a full windows build system, last time I
try it was very broken if you didn't use visualstudio. also using cygwin or
mingw may not be possible since the header files are different therfore
needing to install some more stuff.

that being said go with the windows installer, is windows native way of
handling stuff anyway just as we fix the entry in like 2 days ago

But remember that the sqlite.dll has to be installed somehow too.
