First, let me say, I'm sorry if my post came across as defensive or accusitory in any way.

I would like to see us enforce our existing policy that contributions come with docs of some kind. That would help us a lot. Part of what I was talking about in my last post is that I will be watching new contributions with an eye for getting documentation plugged into the Doc Wiki for 1.1 as soon as things happen on the trunk. I plan to ask questions on the mailing list, and do my best to keep things on track for 1.1 development. But that's getting ahead of ourselves. We need to keep our eyes focused on 1.0, which is in feature freeze. So, new features isn't our problem it's just the number of people who are working on documenting the existing features. We are where we are, and in my opinion the only way out is for the Doc Team to so some hard work. Once we have good baseline Docs, we can enforce a policy on 1.1 additions that requires that undocumented new features be documented, or existing documentation be update when features are changed. But this will only work if we get our hands dirty right now and finish writing the 1.0 docs.
