I'm a new user, having come over from Django because I didn't like how restrictive it felt (and the ORM really confused me). I've been using SO because it looks like not everything in TG works with SA yet (and if that isn't true then the docs should clear that up). The biggest problem I've had with TG is figuring out how to use SO. The book gives basic info, but both the TG website and the SO website are very weak in this regard. What I'd find most useful is a page like this one [1] for SO.
