that said we need to put SA stuff somewhere. with the constant lack of docs
we shouldn't throw away any :)

how about a) start to write docs on 1.1 and stick a big note on top saying
that is not released yet or b) have a new "trunk" toplevel that will have a
big note on top saying "anything under this may or may not be true", this
will also give is a nice set of docs for when 1.1 is done that could be
merged from 1.0 and trunk.
