The only thing holding back TurboGears' compatibility with Python 2.5 is, if I understand correctly, the various packages it depends on which aren't 2.5-compatible.
ConfigObj was one of them: it didn't have a 2.5 egg on the Cheeseshop, and the setup.py file it used wasn't setuptools-aware, so "setup.py bdist_egg" was failing. Michael Foord just released ConfigObj 4.4.0, though, with eggs for 2.4 and 2.5 on cheeseshop. So one more dependency on the 2.5 compatibility list (http://docs.turbogears.org/1.0/Python2.5Support) can be checked off. Anyone know if there are any left, or can TurboGears finally say "totally supports Python 2.5 all the way through" now? -- Robin Munn [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG key 0x4543D577 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
