Thanks guys, for pointing me to dynwidget (and sending it to me).  It
is exactly what I'm looking for.

One followup question: is it possible to use validators with it?  As
in to automatically sanity check the fields and re-display the form if
any fail validation.  I can setup validators for statically defined
forms, but can't clearly see how to get them to behave for this type
of form.
