You might have tried just at the moment I uploaded the files and thus
got this behaviour. Current version is 1.0.2rc1

Yes PIL must be installed on the system but is not distributed as an
egg so I should either distribute it myself as an egg or just remove
it from the dependency links.

Yes at the moment their is no explanation on how to use it and that's
one of my main concern. I have modified the
http://turboblog.devjavu.com/projects/turboblog/browser/branches/1.0.1/create_db.py

file to provide some bootstrap script which creates an sqlite datase
with minimal entries in it. But I am not really satisfied with this
and would like to provide an easier way to do it.
Per example I'd like to have some questions to set the admin password
instead of using a default value specified in this script.

I am missing some elements to provided a good egg usage guide as of today.
For the moment I would direct you to the sources tarball on this page:
http://www.python.org/pypi/turboblog/
where you will find the create_db.py script and the start-turboblog
script. I hope to be able to really provide egg support in the future.

I have filed a ticket in the trac regarding the PIL dependency issue
to make sure I don't forget about it :). Thanks for reporting this
issue.

I have set up a discussion group on google-groups:
http://groups.google.com/group/tb-discuss
so we can talk about TurboBlog without annoying fellow TurboGears
people in this list.
I invite all interested people to join this group (very low discussion
level for the moment :))

Regards,
Florent AIDE.
