Hello Jorge, Thanks for the response. You are correct, the AutoCompleteField is not broken(and does in fact work well in Konqueror. )
After investigating this further, it would appear that TGPaginate widgets(TGPaginate-0.1a0.dev_r627-py2.4.egg) conflicted with the AutoCompleteField. I would presume this is due to the fact that TGPaginate uses scriptaculous. When I removed the egg directory, the problem was resolved(Which is too bad because the Ajax grid is quite nice).
