Hi Florent, Sorry I didn't see you reply until this evening. I solved the problem - did you see my post on 4/15? (Perhaps because I changed the subject to include the word "SOLVED", you didn't see it as part of the original thread.)
It turned out that kid was not installed correctly. I deleted the kid egg and reinstalled it with easy_install, and TG worked fine. Thanks for the tip on using the -U option with easy_install - I'll remember that.
