Excellent!
One more thing though, I did not see your full code on this matter but
please remember that for performance issues you should not instantiate
your widget in the controller's method but once and for all at the
beginning.

You would preferably do this in a separate file with the validators and
then import the needed widgets and validators from that file. This last
part is because it is easier to handle internationalization of widgets
when they are in a separate file... If you don't have i18n and don't
plan to use it then do as you wish.

No prob. :)

I'd like to add a comment on the way to ask a question, please don't
take this personally this is a general remark: if possible please send
the full controllers.py file or paste it in our paste-bin :
http://paste.turbogears.org/

If needed don't hesitate to also paste also the template you are using.

If for any reason you do not want us to see the full content of your
file don't hesitate to reproduce the problem in a small exemple one
containing only a demo code of your problem so we can help you with
concrete exemples rapidly anyway.

And it will also serve as a good source of information for the next
people who will also encounter the same problem as you...

This parameter passing to a nested widget can be tricky sometimes :)

Cheers,
Florent Aide.
