Well I installed TG 1.0.2.2 on Python 2.5.1 (changed my Path to point to the new directories) and ran "easy_install pysqlite" same error as before:
error: Setup script exited with error: Python was built with Visual Studio extensions must be built with a compiler than can generate compatible bina Visual Studio 2003 was not found on this system. If you have Cygwin instal you can try compiling with MingW32, by passing "-c mingw32" to setup.py. At least this is not an intermittent problem. Oh well, I guess I will try again in six months. Hard to trust any framework whose most basic install will not work.
