Sure, that'll make it "work" (as in "not break"), but its not giving
you any of the benefits of the actual paging.  You are essentially
fetching the entire result set (which could be hundreds or thousands of
rows) into a list, and then the pagination is just slicing the already
populated list.  If you are doing this, you might as well not paginate
at all!
