Hi,
I would like a personal ajax web photo gallery.
Unfortunatelly, I have little time to learn 50 new things when
programming such thing.
As I`m a big fan of TurboGears, I`m offering ca. 100-300 USD for help.
Please read the project description at getafreelancer.com :
http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/154414.html

It involves a combination of: AJAX (the base of js code will be
provided, but it is not complete)
TG (preferrably 1.0.2),
python image processing (generate thumbnails)

and some SQL.
(prefer sqlite3)

This is quite easy in PHP, but does anybody dare to make it happen in
TurboGears?

The aim is to have a folder structure (top-level gallery menu):
2007
- Folder1 (containing ca. 20 pictures)
- Folder2 (again)
2006
-Folder3

1st view: gallery thumbnails view with top-level gallery menu on the
left
2nd view: picture view with top-level gallery menu on the left

the javascript functions/fading/resizing/clicking on images should be
exactly as in:
http://www.starcraft2.com/artwork.xml

possibly with resizable images in order to fit to browser window.

If you have some experience, let me know.

Due date: ASAP (25.6.2007)
post a message on http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/154414.html
provide as much detail as possible.
There are some serious competitors from the PHP field already bidding
for the project.

Thank you for your time,

PS: is this the first commercial project for TurboGears in the
history ? If yes, I want to be on wikipedia :-)
