Hello Chris, Currently I'm not using Apache so will need to get Apache working with turbogears using mod_rewrite. I was hoping there was an easier way but there doesn't appear to be one. Seems there should be a way to expose a file in the root of a website without having to use Apache. Wonder if any of the developers have run into this issue yet, maybe I should open ticket for this.
Thanks, Rich On Jun 29, 1:47 am, Christoph Zwerschke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > madcubano2 wrote: > > I'm having trouble figuring out how to put a file, sitemap.xml, which > > google uses for indexing, in the root of my website (as required by > > google for indexing websites). i.e.www.mysite.com/sitemap.xml > > There are some other files of that ilk as well: favicon.ico, robots.txt > etc. My solution is putting them in the static folder and using > mod_rewrite to make them accessible on the top level. > > -- Chris --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
