If it was installed using easy_install or a setuptools script you should also remove any reference to it from the easy-install.pth file that can be found in the site-packages... Mark it that I did not have time to understand why Gibe did break the toolbox the way it did yet... :( I'll need to ponder this issue before next release, for sure. Please report to us if the problem is solved with removing gibe.
