Sure. As far as I can tell, this function was originally knocked up very 
quickly and has been refined as bug reports have appeared. There is 
definitely a need for some new code, with more work put into the design. 
TG 2.0 will have this as a separate middleware component.

You're right. Feel free to submit a patch for this. There are about 7 
TG/SA bugs (1 major) that I am intending to look at, just been caught up 
with some other work.

If the commit was successful, it re-raises the InternalRedirect 
exception. Have a look in the Python manuals to understand try/catch/else.
