Only if the bots can't handle JavaScript. That's usually true.
But humans using lynx or browsing with JS disabled wouldn't be able to
pass the test. So it's not quite great.
Nothing in this CAPTCHA arena is quite great. I like to use use
recaptcha.net in many places, but some of its features also require
JavaScript. (I think basic usage does not, but I don't recall for sure.)
