I have to admit, I don't know anything about blogs, rss feeds, atom, the like. And I get enquiries from clients interested in cms's with blogging software. I don't know whether to just pass those ones off to a friend who retools drupal, or spend a few days building a blog module for my own work.
So I'm curious to hear from other tg developers who make small custom cms systems and have a clue about blogging tools. Are they too advanced to bother duplicating the work or is it a fairly simple thing to build yourself if you're halfway decent with tg and restful interfaces? What else do they do aside from hold a diary with comments? Is there some magical blog/rss/atom equivalent of tinyMCE? :) Thanks!
