Is there a kid template construct or TG python decorator that I have yet to find, that will substitute .... http://somesuch.duh... in a string into <a href="http://somesuch.duh">http://somesuch.duh</a> ??
One usage is to parse a forum post for valid http links and turn them into the clickable version of themselves. Yes, I can probably claw my way to a solution using the regex module, but I'd be miffed after putting a lot of effort that way, and someone pointed out ... erm, why don't you use @enliven or <py:livelink> somebody wrote somewhere. As a side question, is there something that can strip < script > or any other tags that scums usually use to inject unholy codes into our databases? Seems like a prime subject for a widget or built-in feature. Thanks, as usual. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
