Just wanted to follow-up to say that it appears as though the 
PaginateDataGrid is what caused my lengthy display time.  Once I took it 
out and used DataGrid instead, it was much better.  But, if anyone has 
any ideas, I'd be interested in hearing why Genshi didn't work for me....
