let's hope that the first 1.1 beta versions will begin to come out in
one month or so...

you can already use Genshi with TG, and SQLAlchemy us really well
supported, with version 0.4 being supported by TG 1.0.4beta2 and
onward.

Elixir is already working quite well with TG and some people already
use it. It will not be the default but you could already use it today.

interaction between "plain SA" and Elixir models so I think it should
become quite easy to mix the two of them in a while.
For this specific point you should maybe ask on the Elixir mailing
list to know have more precision though.

I have difficulties to give dates :) in this field but I have felt
quite a good push in the TG development recently with a lot of
talented people joining the crew so... I hope to make quick
progresses.
