I don't even know! I have stayed with the ubuntu apt-get apache2 install
defaults. ( Needless to say, I am not a sysadmin! )

Thanks Graham for your help. I got the memory use down somehow by
stopping everything, all pythons and all apaches, and then restarting
them all through the autostart scripts. For whatever reason, now the
apache processes are using between 2-6% of ram instead of 8-9, and the
tg sites are using 12% of ram instead of 15-20%. No idea why. 

I guess I need to learn a lot more about ram and servers. Suggestions
welcome!
