Thanks for the nice pointer and suggestions! However, I run Fedora 5 which has Python 2.4 by default. As I was prefering Python 2.5 for the new environment, I tried installing Python 2.5 in a local directory and installed TG 2.0.4 in this new enviromnent. It seems smooth so far.
