I would set up a new environment (using virtualenv or workingenv or even a separate machine if you have one handy) and just test your current code using 1.0.4b3. I've moved a few of my projects over and I've not noticed anything TG specific that I had to change... (Note: that's not to say that the 1.0.4b3 is 100% working with existing code, there's always room for bugs unfortunately... but I haven't noticed any personally).
