My end-goal is to get TurboLucene working with my site on Ubuntu Edgy. I was trying to build the GCJ version of PyLucene, and having a very difficult time. The folks on the PyLucene list suggested that I use the JCC version of PyLucene, as the GCJ one is on it's way to being deprecated.
Well, I got the JCC version of PyLucene installed, but the interface appears to be different. (Starting with "import lucene" rather than "import PyLucene".) Are there any plans to make TurboLucene work with this newer version of PyLucene?
