I made some improvements after this release but I did't issue another release since then, because I found that I'm not much of a blogger anyway and CBlog works for my limited requirements. I'm not sure at wich step you are exoeriencing this problem. When clicking on the link on the sidebar? Or when clicking the button to submit the post form. Did you run the app in development mode? Where there any exceptions either displayed in the browser or in the serevr output on the terminal?
