I also had a similar problem, but this didn't solve it.
But instead of  "No access for 127.0.0.1", I get this message : "No
access for ::ffff:127.0.0.1"

I don't know if this is a different version of the problem, or if it's
something messy in my Ubuntu(7.10) setup.
Anyways...hope there are someone else that know why! :)
