Because at one point in time our tests where not compatible with nose > 0.9.2... we made a big effort to make sure all test were correctly written to support more recent versions of nose but where not sure if it was OK to go for a newer version yet. We should test 0.10.1 against 1.0 and 1.1 branch and see if all our tests pass.
