Just looking over the docs again, I see that in section "Advanced DataGrid Usage" there is already this paragraph: "Note that a parameterless method of your model class is a suitable callable object." and then it shows an example of exactly how to do this with the syntax discussed here. I added a reference to this section in the basic usage explanation at the top.
