Please post the error message. TG needs MK 1.4 1.4 (i.e. a SVN snapshot) for some AJAX-enabled widgets to work. This already included, but you need to set 'tg_mochikit.version' to '1.4' in your app.cfg to use it. A fresh quickstarted project with Tg 1.1 already does this.
