Search the archives, this is achieved by *not* using AJAX, but instead an
invisible IFRAME. I have posted something about that 1 or two years ago I
believe.

Betreff: [TurboGears] Uploading file in an Ajax form

Hi, I know it's not possible to upload file using ajax per say, but
I've seen some jquery plug ins that seem to do it. I don't really know
how to make them work with turbogears though.
Basically I have a form that's being posted, through ajax, to the
server when the button is clicked. That way I can save information
without having to reload the whole page. But one of thses fields is a
file.
Has anyone done that before and if yes , how ?
