Indeed. I missed that. *sigh*
Regardless, it turns out that in troubleshooting this I posted the
wrong error since I had made a change. I was very tired and had been
working on this and other problems for quite some time.

Thanks for your help, it turns out that I actually had played with
another setting and forgot to rename dev.cfg so that it overrode my
default.cfg.
Fortunately this is working now and I can not create the initial error
which was a TypeError complaining about the wrong number of
arguments. Probably a fat finger on my part with my swapping of
configs.
