I'm pleased to announce the first release of SpammCan - yet another
(TurboGears based) pastebin application.

Why, in Zarkon's name, yet another pastebin?, you ask.
* I was bored.
* Stickum (which drives paste.turbogears.org) is rather dated, supports
only a few languages and is lately plagued by spam. Thus it isn't really
a good figurehead for TurboGears, IMHO.
* There are pastebin apps built with Django, which look much nicer than
Stickum, since they use Pygments for syntax highlighting. TurboGears
should not play second to these ;)
* I wanted to build a simple but useful app with TG 1.1, SQLAlchemy and
ToscaWidgets.
This is a beta release and I have set up a pastebin site on my server so
you can all try it out, to find bugs, complain about missing features,
or send in other comments and suggestions. If you all like the software
and it turns out to be stable enough, I humbly suggest to switch
paste.turbogears.org to run on SpammCan at some point.
